It may surprise you to know that by supporting HospitalityNZ you are directly supporting your industry.
HospitalityNZ is half owned by the Restaurant Association Education Trust and the Restaurant Association of New Zealand is the organiser and manager of the Culinary Fare and the Telecom Seminar Series – 2 of the 5 parts to the show.
The Association’s and the Trust’s shares of the profits from the HospitalityNZ show are channeled directly back into funds used for the benefit of the Hospitality Industry.
The Education Trust gives $35,000 worth of scholarships each year to promising hospitality students and tutors, and owns and subsidises taste and the professional development courses run throughout the year. The Trust also operates the Group Modern Apprenticeship Programme in conjunction with the Hospitality Standards Institute.
The Restaurant Association provides business advice and support to industry members and promotes and advocates for the industry at local and central Government level.
Income from the show forms a vital part of the funding that allows both organisations to function, so the more support you give, the more support the industry gets.
